INVENTUS #16: SMITT
This section INVENTUS is designed to introduce very early web & mobile concepts & invention ideas that may perhaps have the potential to change the world and improve the human race for the better. This is the purpose of it and I have dedicated 5 years of my life to it so far in the hope others will join. As futurist Futurist Patrick Dixon mentions ...Chapter 2, Page 98 - “Expect to see wide use of intelligent clothes that change with temperature in color, or texture, and accessories that contain microchips and are “wired” with functionality, such as belts, hats, glasses, watches, gloves or trainers - for example, providing readouts of distance run”
Samsung's SMART FINGERS introduces us to the world's first SMART GLOVE concept. I believe it is this type of integration with smart clothes will advance the Internet of Things in the next phase of the technological age. It's something I'm super-smitten by.
Desktops, laptops, smartphones, tablet devices and smart watches have all found their respective niches and mainstream space in our lives, however I do believe that the consumer electronics hardware scene will be disrupted again - this time a combination of smart clothes and wearable technology including Smart Gloves (or Mitts), Smart Caps, Smart T-Shirts, Smart Rings, and perhaps something brand new in terms of hardware that no one has thought of yet in terms of design & integration.
